A 12-slide illustrated presentation exploring the story behind 5th November, from Parliament and the Gunpowder Plot to bonfires, fireworks and celebrations today.

Both versions contain the same learning content and are supplied as PowerPoint and PDF files. Historical events are presented calmly, without graphic violence or punishment.

2. Light Up the Sky — Firework Maths Within 10

A 16-page printable pack supporting subitising within 5, counting, matching, comparing and exploring parts of a whole.

Includes:

• Ten counting mats covering quantities 1–10.
• Five-frame and ten-frame references.
• Two pages of quantity-matching cards.
• A “More, Fewer or the Same?” comparison mat.
