This FUTUREPROOF year asks pupils to make choices with evidence.

They work through respect, consent and pressure; vaping, alcohol, medicines, first aid and stress; deepfakes, image sharing and online manipulation; borrowing, fraud and money resilience; and subject choices, local labour market information and interview basics. The sequence is built for one timetabled hour each week and includes planned review and local-context lessons.

Inside the ZIP are the 38-lesson scheme and teacher cards, the Year 8 presentation, 38 standard student mission sheets, 38 matching SEND-supported worksheets and the non-specialist teacher playbook. A consistent lesson rhythm makes cover and shared delivery easier: objective and recall, a worked example, structured practice, several assessment-for-learning checks, an independent product, a revision and a short objective-based plenary. Pupils explain and make decisions rather than copy paragraphs from a slide. Paper-first tasks keep the lessons usable without a computer suite.

The provider encounter lessons help pupils prepare questions and compare routes; a real encounter only occurs when your school arranges an eligible provider visit and logs it.
