A full year of Year 6 arithmetic starters, from September to SATs week: 160 days and 640 questions across five half-termly packs. Each day has 4 questions, and the slides work as morning work or a maths starter.

Questions are written to the exact specification of the KS2 SATs arithmetic paper. The autumn packs build up in a logical progression, starting with place value, mental calculation and written methods before adding long multiplication, long division, fractions and percentages. From spring onwards, pupils get the full SATs mix every week, including 2 decimal place multiplication as it appeared on the 2026 paper.

What鈥檚 included:

  • Autumn 1, Autumn 2, Spring 1, Spring 2 and Summer 1 PowerPoint packs
  • 160 slides laid out like the SATs paper, with answer boxes and working space
  • Full answers for every question
  • SATs formats such as missing number and answer-box-first questions
