Help Year 1 children practise telling the time to the hour and half past the hour with this 30-page botanical teaching pack from Little Learning by Jenu.

The pack includes:
• 18 standalone worksheets
• 4 classroom display posters
• 4 pages of practical resources, including analogue–digital matching cards, flashcards and a teaching clock to assemble
• 2 differentiated assessment and challenge pages
• 2 pages of teacher guidance and answer keys

Children identify the hour and minute hands, read o’clock and half-past times, match analogue and digital representations, draw clock hands, sort and compare times, correct mistakes and use times in daily routines. Half-past examples correctly position the hour hand halfway between the hour numbers.

Use the activities flexibly for whole-class practice, small groups, independent work or Year 1 intervention. A supported assessment and an independent reasoning challenge help you identify next steps.

The core activities support England’s Year 1 expectations for reading hour and half-hour times and drawing clock hands. Digital matching provides an additional representation.

Supplied as one complete 30-page print-ready PDF and an editable Word document. Text and layouts can be edited; clock diagrams and botanical artwork are inserted images. The Word file uses the free Comfortaa font, which should be installed to preserve its appearance when editing.

All pages are A4 portrait, with soft sage accents, white backgrounds, clear clock faces and space for responses. Worksheets can be used in any order.
