Practise Year 1 Christmas maths with five festive missions covering addition, subtraction and missing numbers within 10 and 20. Answers included.

Children help in a fictional Christmas gift workshop by adding, subtracting, finding missing parts, comparing orders and checking calculations.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

• Five missions, each available in two number ranges: within 10 and within 20.
• 10 pupil worksheets with four questions on each page: 40 questions in total.
• Two pages of teacher guidance.
• Two answer pages.
• 15 pages in total, including the cover.

TWO NUMBER RANGES

Choose the number range that suits each learner. Both versions follow the same five mission themes, with different numbers.

The within-20 activities include calculations that cross ten. Provide counters or other practical support where needed.

HOW TO USE

Use one mission at a time for short maths sessions, or arrange the worksheets as optional classroom stations. Encourage pupils to explain their thinking and check their answers.

SUITABILITY

Designed for Year 1 / KS1 maths practice, ages 5–7. The activities use a Christmas gift-workshop theme.

FORMAT

Printable PDF with A4 pages and UK English. The PDF is not editable. No external book or software subscription is needed.
