This is a 24-page booklet designed to help students talk about football and the world cup in French. There are discussions on the best player, who will win each group the use of VAR, and reviewing a match. There are also fact files about some of the francophone countries playing in the world cup to reinforce the notion that French is a global language.

The booklet can be used as an end-of-year project, or parts of it can be used as enrichment activities or for setting cover.
