A wordsearch where the words are key features of an NHS hospital.

NHS hospitals can be very different to each other - depending on what type of hospital it is (acute, mental health, community…), there will be different features and commons sights! This wordsearch is based on common themes of acute hospitals (a hospital with an A&E service) as they tend to be larger with more facilities.

It includes some key words from both outpatient and inpatient care, plus some common themes and elements of healthcare.

I’ve used this wordsearch with students and then asked them to identify values of the NHS (kindness, dignity, care).

Keywords in the wordsearch are:
Appointment, Laboratory, Technology, Care, Reception, Emergency, Operation, Bed, Treatment, Patients, Pharmacy, Clinical, Kindness, Dignity, Hygiene, Clinic, Chairs, Labour, ÌÇÐÄVlogts, Ward, Health
