A word search to colour the letters rather than just find the words. In this puzzle children look for the word ‘accommodate’ ten times throughout and colour the letters when they find them.
Accommodate is often one of the most misspelled words on the year 6 spelling list. By looking for the word repeatedly, students are constantly going over the spelling. The word is hidden 10 times forward, backwards up or down so students become familiar with the letters and their order. Children colour each letter to show where the word is.
A great resource for independent work, home work or something for those finding the spelling difficult. Answers are also included.
This is a calm, mindful and creative activity and children can choose to colour the word in any way they like. There are also cute creatures at the bottom to colour and make their learning more creative and individual.
