This bundle provides a ready-to-teach pathway towards the WJEC Entry Level Award in Healthy Living & Fitness (Entry 2) – 6011/A2.

Designed particularly for learners in SEND, SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRUs, specialist settings and FE/post-16 provision, the resources use accessible language, clear layouts and practical, learner-centred activities.

6164/E2 Food & Health – 4 credits
Learners explore healthy eating, food groups, nutrients, dietary needs, the effects of food choices and practical healthy food preparation.

6172/E2 Health, Safety & Hygiene – 3 credits
Learners develop their understanding of safe and hygienic food preparation, contamination, food poisoning and the effects of food poisoning on health.

6123/E2 Choices and Decisions – 1 credit
Learners explore everyday choices and take part in making a decision about an aspect of their own life.

The bundle includes complete learner workbooks, clear coverage of assessment criteria, written and practical activities, opportunities for photographic and teacher-observation evidence, reflection activities and SEND-friendly layouts.

Together, the three units provide 8 credits, meeting the credit requirement for the WJEC Entry 2 Award in Healthy Living & Fitness.

Centres remain responsible for assessment, internal quality assurance and checking the current WJEC specification before registering learners.
