Complete WJEC Entry Pathways Community Action (6112/E2) workbook, designed to support learners working at Entry 2.

This ready-to-use 42-page resource covers the full unit and provides accessible teaching content, structured learner activities and opportunities to collect clear assessment evidence.

The workbook covers:

AC1.1 Identify a community group in their local area and what it does

AC2.1 Participate in a community activity that is relevant to them

AC2.2 Identify how this activity benefits others

Learners explore what a community is, different types of community groups and services, who these groups support and the ways they contribute to their local area. They investigate community organisations and identify a group within their own local community.

Activities include community-place identification, real-life scenarios, sorting public services and voluntary groups, community-group challenges, research tasks, local-community investigations and a community-group poster. Learners then explore different types of community action and consider ways they could support other people.

Learners choose a community activity that is relevant to them, identify their role, plan what they will do and prepare to take part. The workbook then provides structured opportunities to record participation through photographs and work evidence, identify who benefited from the activity and explain how the activity helped others.

The workbook also includes:

  • WJEC-style assessment record
  • clear AC codes throughout
  • photorealistic visual activities
  • community-group research task
  • local-community investigation
  • community-action planning
  • practical participation evidence
  • photo / work evidence spaces
  • adult confirmation

Ideal for:

SEND • SEMH • Alternative Provision • FE • Entry Pathways • Life Skills • Personal Development • Community Action

Designed with clear language, visual support, manageable writing demands and structured practical activities to make the WJEC specification accessible to Entry 2 learners.
