Winter Coloring Pages give you 50 printable sheets of snow crystals drawn large and left roomy. This is the lighter of the two snow sets, with more white space around each flake and fewer objects competing for attention.

That openness suits younger children. There is one clear thing to color and space to rest the hand.

What the Pages Contain

A single crystal fills most of the sheet. Six arms reach out from a round center, each one carrying paired spurs along its length and splitting into a fork at the end. The center holds two large oval eyes, a soft smile, and a blush circle on either cheek.

Scattered around it are miniature flakes drawn as simple six point asterisks, small enough to finish in a stroke or two. A daisy with rounded petals sits near the lower edge. Hearts, outlined stars, and short curved arcs suggesting drifting motion fill the corners, along with dots at several sizes.

Headings change from page to page. Some read SNOWFLAKE, others SNOW, and one carries SO COOL in wide hollow capitals across the top.

Educational Benefits
  • Repeating a pattern is the core task, since five arms must match the first.
    • Scale comparison happens on its own when tiny asterisk flakes surround one large crystal.
    • Confidence comes from a page that a four year old can actually complete.
    • Seasonal vocabulary grows through the winter words on each heading.
Good Times to Use These
  • The run up to winter break
    • Snow day activity packets
    • Weather observation lessons
    • Classroom window displays
    • Craft sessions where flakes get cut out and hung
    • Quiet time on a dark afternoon
