Help children recognise and manage feelings of anger with this supportive social story designed especially for autistic children aged 3–7 years.

When I Feel Angry explains some of the physical and emotional signs of anger while reassuring children that feeling angry is okay.

The story introduces positive calming strategies including deep breathing, counting to five, using a calm space, squeezing a sensory toy and asking a trusted adult for help.

The resource uses friendly illustrations and a calming pastel pink and purple design, together with a personalised “This Story Belongs To section.

Ideal for:

Behaviour and emotional support
Parents and carers

A reassuring visual resource that helps children understand big emotions while learning safe and positive ways to regulate themselves.
