Three history worksheets with teachers’ notes in this free 10-page sample from Using Evidence in KS3 History.

How Can I Find Out? introduces evidence through questions about finding out what happened. What Sort of Evidence? classifies illustrated sources as primary or secondary. Our School in the Past plans an investigation of the school’s history and ways to present findings.

The sample also includes the title, introduction, contents and general guidelines. Use discussion, source classification and written work; the school-history investigation needs access to suitable local records, objects or people as identified by the class.

The full 61-page PDF contains 28 worksheets with notes, plus a data-record page, covering varied sources and evidence-handling skills at KS3.

The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond this sample. Original 1999 National Curriculum and attainment-level references are retained without a claim of current alignment.
