This is a complete unit of work for an upper key stage two class to teach them about the Victorian Era. It is all linked with the National Curriculum and takes place over 9 sessions culminating in a balance argument about whether the Industrial Revolution was a good thing for people in Victorian Britain.
Each lesson has a fully detailed powerpoint that lists vocabulary (Tier 2 and Tier 3) as well as core learning from the lesson. Each lesson starts with a recap and the lessons include a variety of ways for children to record their developing knowledge taking inspiration from task design elements.
