This lesson introduces pupils to some of the UAE’s most iconic buildings, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and Louvre Abu Dhabi. Learners discover when they were built, what they symbolise, and how they connect to the UAE’s growth and vision.

Activities include comprehension questions, discussion, and creative design tasks encouraging pupils to think about the next “mega project” for the country. The lesson supports the UAE Social Studies curriculum and National Identity values of History, Heritage, Culture, and Global Understanding while building enquiry, critical thinking, and presentation skills
