Stop building rugby units from scratch. This pack gives you six complete, ready-to-teach touch rugby lessons that combine fitness conditioning with core rugby skills — planned in detail so you can walk in and teach, whether you’re a PE specialist or covering a class you’ve never taught rugby to before.

Every lesson follows the same reliable structure (warm-up, skill drills, fitness circuit, small-sided game, cool-down) and comes with learning objectives, success criteria, differentiation for more able and SEN students, and plenary questions — everything you need for a work scrutiny or observation, done for you.

Touch/tag format throughout means no contact tackling, so it’s safe, inclusive, and low-risk to run with mixed-ability classes of 20-30. Minimal kit required: cones, bibs, and a rugby ball.

The unit builds progressively from ball familiarity through passing, evasion, support play and defence, finishing with a round-robin assessment tournament and printable rubric.

What’s included: 6 full lesson plans, an assessment rubric, an equipment checklist, and safety guidance — all illustrated and ready to print or project.
