Final writing outcome

A comic narrative about a community of identical creatures and the one Huey who wears something different — pupils write their own short Huey story in which a tiny, unexpected difference (a hat, a song, a wobble) appears in one Huey and slowly spreads through the whole community, ending with the new normal.

Grammar features (Year 2 NC-aligned)
  • Past tense verbs (regular -ed endings and common irregular verbs).
  • Subordination using ‘because’ and ‘when’ to join clauses.
