Double lesson exploring the issue of caring for our planet for Eduqas (Catholic) Origins and Meanings.

The lesson explores the views of Catholics, humanists and athiests. I have included a video of Prince EA to help engage students, this could be a further opportunity for stretch and challenge through the discussion of the golilocks enigma. The second part of the lesson focuses on the skill of evaluating and asks students to consider how others would respond to certain views. The lesson ends with a D question in which students can apply and consolidate their learning.

Includes:
Starter slide (date/title, thinking task, flipped research homework)
Retrieval starter quiz
key words
sharing info
true/false learning check
video/questions
exam practice (success criteria sheet
challenge questions
‘packaway’ plenary
