A two week unit of work based around the story The Barnabus Project by the Fan Brothers. The unit is designed to encourage children’s sentence structure and vocabulary. There is plenty of opportunities for children to orally rehearse sentences prior to writing. They will get to design and write about their own imaginary creature that could have been created in the secret laboratory where Barnabus lived.
