In this activity, students will examine how a series of technological inventions transformed the production of cotton textiles in Britain during the Industrial Revolution. They will explore how the shift from cottage industry to the factory system changed the way work was organised and how goods were produced on a mass scale.

It has 12 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
