• This resource introduces the work of the IndigeSTEAM Society, a Canadian organisation that is encouraging teachers to adopt Two-Eyed Seeing in their teaching. This framework brings together Indigenous and Western ways of knowing to create more meaningful, culturally-responsive learning experiences.

• It includes interviews with team members about how they live Two-Eyed Seeing in their lives and offers an advice for teachers on how to use Two-Eyed Seeing in the classroom.

• It also includes an activity sheet, which challenges you to incorporate Two-Eyed Seeing in your lessons and reflect on how this impacts your students’ learning.

This resource was first published by Futurum Careers, a free online resource and magazine aimed at encouraging 14-to-19-year-olds worldwide to pursue careers in science, tech, engineering, maths, medicine (STEM) and social sciences, humanities and the arts for people and the economy (SHAPE).
