Sparkle, Trace & Move!

A fun, firework themed tracing map, perfect for EYFS brain breaks and movement activities!

Children follow the glowing sparkler trails, developing visual tracking, hand eye coordination, gross motor skills and crossing the midline.

1. Display the video on your interactive whiteboard.
2. Encourage children to stand up, facing the screen, with enough space to move safely.
3. Ask children to follow the glowing sparkler trails using their finger, scalf, wand or stick, copying the movements in the air.
4. Encourage children to use big, controlled movements, crossing their arm over the middle of their body where appropriate.
5. Repeat the video to build confidence, coordination and fluency.

Can be used with paper for large scale mark making in a pen disco style
