Las mascotas activity workbook is part of a set of topic-based resources specifically aimed at teaching Spanish in Primary Schools. It has been designed to work alongside the PowerPoint presentations, (available separately), however, the language and instructions are clearly explained and therefore it could be used as a stand-alone resource, if required.

This twelve-page workbook contains fun exercises specifically designed to aid memorisation and build the children’s confidence in reading and writing Spanish. The illustrations are consistent throughout the resources and have been carefully chosen with the specific ages of the children in mind.

Although each individual page can be used separately, it works best as a centre-stapled A4 booklet. This way, the children can use the vocabulary list at the end of the booklet and refer to earlier exercises to help them, if needed. It not only provides a permanent record of their achievements in the topic but gives them a sense of achievement and pride. Of course, colouring in the cover, always proves popular!
