Get your A1鈥揂2 learners describing, listening and guessing in Spanish: a ready-to-play team game with 3 levels, 30 sets and built-in clue support.

Turn vocabulary revision into a lively speaking challenge. Students describe a secret word in Spanish while their teammate tries to guess it. The fewer hints they need, the more points they earn.

How to play

  1. Divide the class into Red and Blue teams. Choose a level, a set and 5 or 10 rounds per team.
  2. One player faces away from the screen. Teammates describe the word in Spanish without saying it or its English translation.
  3. Reveal optional word or phrase hints when needed. Hints reduce the points available, encouraging students to try their own descriptions first.
  4. Mark a correct answer or pass, then swap teams. The game keeps score automatically.

Why choose this game?

  • Reusable variety: 3 difficulty levels, each with 10 sets. Each full game contains 20 words; vocabulary reappears across sets for revision.
  • Support when students need it: optional English help, three word hints and two phrase hints per target word.
  • Flexible length: 5 rounds per team for a quick game or 10 for a full game.
  • Easy to manage: automatic scoring, timed hints with a pause control, full-screen mode, undo and saved-game/resume features.
  • Purposeful speaking: students practise describing everyday vocabulary, listening for meaning and explaining ideas with the Spanish they know.
