Teach the processes behind plate movement, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, and use evidence to evaluate responses.

Six modules connect the structure of the Earth and four boundary types with the hazards they produce. The detailed examples of the 2023 earthquake in Türkiye and Syria and the 2022 Hunga Tonga eruption help students apply those ideas.

Modules Included

  • The Theory of Plate Tectonics
  • Plate Boundaries
  • Earthquakes
  • Volcanoes
