This mini project allows students to apply their understanding of BIDMAS/ BODMAS / PEMDAS and problem solve in a real life context.

Students will need to complete a range of tasks relating to a school engineering challenge, where they will need to apply the rules of Order of Operations to calculate the cost, think about the budget, and dimensions of a new alarm system.

It is recommended that this activity should be printed as a booklet for students to complete the mini project.

Note:聽there are 2 versions of the task, in Pound Sterling (拢) and US Dollars ($), to use as you prefer.
