This ready-to-print English final test is designed for primary students aged 9–10 (grade 4). It takes approximately 60 minutes and covers four key skill areas: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The test is picture-rich and suitable for A1 level learners.

The listening section includes three tasks – ticking correct pictures, numbering images in order, and matching spoken prompts to pictures (e.g., actions like flying a kite, playing badminton, reading).

The reading and writing section comprises five tasks: matching questions (e.g., “What are you doing?” “When is your birthday?” “What did you do yesterday?”) to correct answers; unscrambling letters to form vocabulary words (e.g., swim, sing, cook, draw, skate); reading a short passage about a student named Nam (age, school, favourite subjects, weekend activities) and answering Yes/No comprehension questions; filling gaps in a playground scene description using words from a box (boys, badminton, playing, reading); and reordering scrambled words to form grammatically correct sentences (e.g., “What nationality are you?” “I was at school yesterday.” “How often do you have IT?” “I like flying a kite.”).

The speaking section outlines four oral tasks: listen and repeat, point ask and answer, listen and comment, and interview.

Key vocabulary topics include: school subjects (Vietnamese, Maths, English, IT), playground activities (football, skipping, flying kites, badminton, hide-and-seek, reading), hobbies (singing, playing piano), daily routines, past events (visited grandparents), and personal information (birthday, nationality).

Skills assessed: listening for detail and ordering, visual matching, reading comprehension (main ideas and specific details), vocabulary spelling and recognition, sentence construction, question formation, present continuous, simple past, and simple present tenses.

The test is fully editable and includes a complete answer key. Perfect for end-of-term assessment, ESL/EFL classroom use, or homework. No country-specific references – suitable for global use.
