A KS3 History lesson looking at poverty in Britain at the start of the 20th century.

Students are exposed to the disparity of lifestyles within the country and the problems faced by the poorest of people.

Students then see some liberal reforms (children鈥檚 charter, free school meals, etc.) and assess the impact of these on the people of Britain.

Questions and sources are presented to students throughout the lesson.
