These two fully resourced lessons, one naming and explaining the function of the parts of the flowering plant and the other explaining its life cycle, from pollination through fertilisation and seed dispersal to germination, provide a comprehensive and engaging introduction to plants for middle school science students. To reinforce learning at the end of the topic or for test prep there is also a dominoes game where students either match the word or question or answer it depending on the dominoes they have in their hand.

Each lesson comes with an engaging animated PowerPoint and an extensive range of worksheets, guided notes, activities and homework so that each can be tailored to suite the exact needs of individual students, small groups or a whole class. For each topic, a one – page flow chart lesson plan shows where logical choices can be made between resources and a separate answer/mark scheme PowerPoint enables easy self and peer-assessment.
