Plane coloring pages for the early years: twenty sheets of jets and propeller planes drawn large for small hands, printed on A4 in bold outline.

A Closer Look at the Twenty Designs

The aircraft change from page to page. One has a stubby body and a wing that sweeps back. Another stretches across the sheet with four round windows in a row. Two of them face the reader with a closed happy eye and a curved mouth on the nose cone.

Backgrounds are not identical either. A few keep to scattered stars and one cloud; others fill the white space with flower heads, hearts and small circles. That range helps in a mixed class: busy sheets for the child who wants to keep going, open ones for the child who gives up when a page looks crowded.

Let鈥檚 Soar runs across the top of most pages in a chunky hollow font colored letter by letter. One sheet says Let鈥檚 Fly instead.

Educational Benefits
  • Pencil grip. Large shapes first, then the small stars, so the hand warms up before the harder work.
    • Letter awareness. The hollow capitals in the banner get traced and filled, a close cousin of letter formation practice.
    • Visual discrimination. A child tells a star from a flower from a heart before deciding what color it should be.
    • Sustained attention. One sheet is a whole task with a clear end, useful for children who rarely finish anything.
How This Pack Fits the Day
  • A short art task that fits one twenty minute slot
    • Airport and travel role play corners
    • Homework folders sent out over a school break
    • Reward pages for children who finish written work early
    • The calm corner, where a child needs something quiet to hold
What鈥檚 Included
