Pupils evaluate each expression, find the answer in the colour key (for example 6 = orange, 8 = green, 10 = yellow) and colour the matching region to reveal a detailed picture: a rocket, a turtle, a hot air balloon, a butterfly, a lighthouse and a dragon in the main set. The puzzles move from multiplication and division first, to parentheses first, to mixed operations, exponents and an order of operations challenge, so pupils practise BODMAS and BIDMAS rules with built-in self-checking.
