A whole-school Mental Health Week assembly for sixth form. Uses the aircraft autopilot as a metaphor for agency and the locus of control. Approximately 15 minutes.

MOVE is a sixth form assembly built around one question: who is actually flying right now? It speaks directly to the pressures of sixth form life, including exhaustion, borrowed anxiety and working towards something you cannot remember choosing. It introduces the locus of control and a catalogue of 18 actions written specifically for older students.

Speaker notes are provided and all materials are editable.

What is included:
A complete PowerPoint assembly for Years 12 and 13 with speaker notes.
18 small actions written specifically for sixth form students.
The locus of control concept introduced and explained.
Childline and Shout support slide included.

Also available as part of the MOVE Secondary Full Suite with additional resources including tutor tasks, poster and student take home leaflet.
