Five great artists. Five open-ended lessons. One half-term of art.

Van Gogh, Matisse, Kandinsky, Degas and Arcimboldo each speak to your class, through a pupil sheet and a one-minute audio QR, and share the idea behind their art. Children don鈥檛 copy the famous painting: they borrow the artist鈥檚 way of thinking and make something entirely their own.

Van Gogh: Brushstrokes in Motion (painting, rhythm, movement)
Matisse: Drawing with Scissors (cut-paper collage)
Kandinsky: Painting Music (art and music, feelings)
Degas: Catching Movement (observational drawing, sequence)
Arcimboldo: a Head of Fruit and Veg (collage portrait)
Each lesson includes the illustrated pupil sheet, a grown-up guide and a 45-minute classroom plan with National Curriculum links. Ready for a five-week series, one artist a week.

Licensed for classroom use with your own pupils. For paid workshops, clubs or events, a separate workshop licence is available from the author.
