This lovely booklet can be used at the start of Nursery or Reception and updated throughout the child’s time in Early Years. There are spaces for the child to mark make, write their own name, recognise numbers, shapes and colours. In addition I have added pages to let the child shine by saying what they know, what they love, explaining similarities and differences in their own words. This booklet can be used as an assessment tool but also as a lasting momento of the little characters that we get to know and nurture through their time in Early Years with us.
The front cover has space for a photo of the child (ideally on their first day in your setting) and a space to write their name. The next page has key dates and also a space to measure the child with a piece of string or ribbon and stick it in. I would also suggest putting a photo on the back of the child with their friends or the whole class.
The booklet should be printed in colour and can be bound in any way that you choose.
