Lord of the Flies Chapter One lesson that explores William Golding鈥檚 novel as Jack and the choir are first introduced. We learn about the conch and its significance as it affects how the children behave in Chapter 1 - The Sound of The Shell.

Students analyse the new characters, the significance of the conch and key quotations around both. An excellent way to introduce the text to both KS3 and KS4 classes.
