A complete German course for complete beginners: 10 ready-to-teach lessons and 10 practice worksheets, enough for a full A1 term. Every file comes as a PDF for printing and an editable Word document (.docx), so you can adapt it for your class. All answers are included. Buying the bundle costs about 40% less than buying each lesson on its own.

Deutsch Start A1 takes students from their first “Hallo to ordering food in a café. Each lesson is a “mission with a real-life goal, such as introducing your family to a host family, finding a summer camp buddy or surviving your first day at a German school. Grammar is taught in small steps, and every lesson builds on the one before.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

10 lessons (9 pages each). Every lesson has the same clear structure:
a briefing with a guessing starter (“Rate mal!)
four short missions (Learn → Drill → Do)
a final mission with three role-plays
a one-page phrase sheet with culture facts
a teacher page with a lesson plan and answers
10 worksheets with 16 exercises each, 160 exercises in total. Each worksheet has three levels (Warm-up, Training, Challenge), a self-check and an answer key you can remove before printing.
168 pages in total, plus the free Pronunciation Starter (phonics, sound chart and bingo) as a bonus.

One consistent, clean design that saves ink, with no clipart and no solid black blocks.
Real language tasks only, with no colouring or cutting.
Lots of speaking: games, surveys and role-plays in every lesson.
Exercises go from easy to hard, so it works well in mixed-ability classes.
