Want to get your pupils up and speaking but getting bored by the same activities time and time again?

This resource is perfect for year 8 but would suit any Key Stage 3 class that are learning about holidays using the preterite tense.

Included is a PowerPoint to show giving full instructions of the activity. It is editable if you wish to take away any of the support or scaffolding for a higher ability group.

I have also included copies of the game cards which I recommend printing at 4 slides to a page on red card.

I would recommend using yellow flashcards (3 per student) with this activity but you can amend this in the PowerPoint instructions if you wish.

By the end of this activity your pupils will be guaranteed to be confident in asking each other about their past holidays and answering each others questions!
