A fully resourced KS3 PSHE lesson exploring autism, neurodiversity and inclusion.

Students learn what autism is, explore why autism is described as a spectrum, challenge common misconceptions, consider the experiences of autistic people, and reflect on how greater understanding can help create a more inclusive society. The lesson promotes empathy, respect and awareness while celebrating neurodiversity.

Includes:
-Complete PowerPoint lesson
-Autism awareness gap-fill worksheet
-Discussion and reflection activities
-Video-linked learning
-Retrieval and knowledge-check tasks
-Inclusion and diversity focus

Suitable for Years 7-9 and ideal for PSHE, Personal Development, Equality & Diversity or tutor time programmes.

Created by a Head of PSHE, checked by the SEND lead in the school, and designed in line with current statutory RSHE / PSHE guidance. PowerPoint design is intentionally structured to reduce cognitive overload.

This lesson forms part of a wider KS3 PSHE Identity & Diversity unit.

All lessons are available individually or as part of a discounted bundle in my TES shop.
