A fully resourced KS3 PSHE lesson project exploring LGBTQIA+ rights, acceptance and safety around the world.

Students investigate how laws, social attitudes and protections for LGBTQIA+ individuals differ across countries. Through a structured research task, students act as travel advisers helping a newly married same-sex couple plan a world honeymoon, considering where they may feel welcomed, protected and safe.

The resource encourages students to explore diversity, equality, inclusion, human rights and global citizenship while developing research, critical thinking and presentation skills.

Includes:
-Complete PowerPoint resource
-Structured project task
-Detailed country information sheets
-Research and discussion activities
-Reflection opportunities
-Suitable for Years 8-10

Created by a Head of PSHE and designed in line with current statutory RSHE / PSHE guidance.

We have taught this for two years in a row now and our students have loved it and learned so much from it.

This lesson forms part of a wider KS3 PSHE Equality & Diversity module and is available individually or as part of a bundle in my TES shop.
