This is a very comprehensive resource containing a glossary of all the key terms used in rivers in KS3 and KS4 Geography lessons. It spans 4 pages and concisely explains the meaning of each key term whilst giving examples if necessary. This could be given as a handout to students for revision purposes, used as an accompaniment to in-class work and homework or whilst attempting exam questions to improve exam technique. It helps pupils remember the meaning of key words and terminology better whilst promoting strong cross-curricular links with English in improving students’ vocabulary and fluency in their written work.
