Use repeated test results to evaluate a narrow claim and suggest a fairer investigation.

Repeat the 糖心Vlogt, from Numberlight Data and Decisions, is a two-lesson investigation pack for Years 5鈥6. It joins careful reading, explanation and evidence checking with scientific enquiry.

Included:

  • 23-slide editable PowerPoint with diagnostic prompts, modelling, answer reveals, discussion and an independent exit check
  • Teacher guide with timings, prerequisites, vocabulary and responsive teaching suggestions
  • All fictional evidence and data sheets supplied; no live websites or pupil accounts needed
  • Support, Core and Stretch practice routes, each with 6 prompts
  • Six partner rehearsal cards, an application project and fresh exit questions
  • Separate answers, worked reasoning and criteria for open responses

Six teaching files: one PPTX and five PDFs, 22 PDF pages in total. Two adaptable lessons of about 50鈥60 minutes each; select a route and tasks to suit prior knowledge. Partner cards intentionally reuse practice prompts for rehearsal and are not additional unique questions. Routes offer different scaffolds and reasoning demands, not fixed ability labels.

Prerequisites: Read tables, compare whole numbers and add three values. Means are optional stretch.

All cases, schools, offers and numerical datasets are fictional teaching examples. No pupil purchases or personal disclosures are required. The supplied data provide the full lesson without a practical; any optional water-and-paper demonstration is teacher-supervised under school routines. PowerPoint or compatible software is needed for editing; PDFs can be printed with a PDF reader. No affiliation, endorsement or classroom-trial claim is made.
