Teach children that kindness is not only something we feel, it is something we choose to do.

This ready-to-teach KS2 character education unit develops empathy, thoughtful behaviour and practical kindness. Pupils explore how to notice the feelings and needs of others, include people who may feel left out, perform everyday acts of kindness and make kind choices even when doing so is difficult.

The pack contains 30 files, including a launch assembly, six no-prep Circle Time sessions lasting 10–15 minutes, and six full 40–45 minute lessons, all with presentation decks. A Teacher Guide, Knowledge Organiser and Pupil Reflection Journal are also included.

Designed for Years 3–6, the unit helps children understand that genuine kindness involves both caring and acting.

Built on the Jubilee Centre Framework for Character Education. Full Verity Character Education programmes are available for both KS2 and KS3.
