A free display poster for beginner Japanese with words covering greetings and first introductions.

Greetings and useful words

Classroom uses
Print for wall display, or as a reference sheet for student folders.
Works well projected as a lesson starter: point at an item and elicit the word, or with the English covered for quick oral recall. Also useful to leave with a cover teacher, since no Japanese is needed to run vocabulary practice from it.

Suitable for Key Stage 3 and 4, sixth form, adult education, international schools, homeschooling and tutors. No prior knowledge assumed.

Format Print-ready

This poster is taken from Lesson 1 of a complete fifty-lesson beginner Japanese course. The full lesson includes worksheets, hiragana practice, flashcards, listening, speaking, reading, writing, audio and a complete answer key, all available in my shop.

If you find it useful in your classroom, a review is much appreciated.
