This is a resource book I designed when working with a small intervention group of students in Y8/9 who needed to accelerate their literacy skills.
It’s based upon the Hunger Games film, where each week students watch a small portion of the film and then complete a literacy task based upon this. It’s designed to take 10 weeks/sessions. My students absolutely loved it and once tested again, had demonstrated an improvement in their reading age- a great resource.
