This winter-themed resource for EYFS and KS1 children includes 4 worksheets, each inviting children to find and colour pairs of winter items: gloves, boots, scarves and socks.
Designed to support early maths learning, the activities encourage children to develop matching, sorting, visual discrimination and early number skills as they count and identify pairs, while also reinforcing key vocabulary linked to seasons and weather.
The snowman theme provides a fun context for discussing winter, cold weather and the clothing we wear in different seasons, making the worksheets ideal for continuous provision, small-group work or independent tasks.
Each worksheet is also duplicated in an alternative version featuring a coloured snowman instead of a black-and-white one, giving teachers extra choice to suit different classroom uses and presentation styles.
