This resource is a fourteen page PDF document with activities to do based on the book Heads and Tails - Underwater by John Canty There are 12 activities to do with the book.

The 12 worksheets are individual underwater animals worksheets based on the facts given in the book. There is one sheet for each animal featured in the story (crab, sea star, whale, jellyfish, stingray, tadpole, frog, eel, seahorse, octopus, turtle and butterfly fish). There is also one double-up sheet (octopus) to cater for our US customers as there are spelling differences (colour / color).

This book is an excellent resource to use when teaching a unit about underwater animals, however these worksheets could still be very helpful for an underwater animals unit even if you do not have this particular book.
