Get your students making and creating beautiful art and crafts from Mexico with this pack of seven hands-on activities, including Mexico鈥檚 flag, sugar skulls, Guanajuato-inspired art, clay Talavera bowls, a model of El Castillo at Chich茅n Itz谩, Spanish vocabulary, and a mini pi帽ata.

What鈥檚 included?
Templates for:

  • Make Mexico鈥檚 flag.
  • Two sugar skulls to choose from or design your own using the blank sugar skull.
  • Instructions to make a clay Talavera bowl.
  • Two designs to choose from to make a model of El Castillo.
  • Learn stationery and farm animals in Spanish.
  • Make a whole-class or individual row of streets inspired by the colourful city of Guanajuato.
  • Make a mini pi帽ata.

You will need:

  • one straw per child for the flag
  • air-drying clay for the Talavera bowls
  • a straw/wooden skewer/craft stick/pencil and a piece of string for the pi帽ata
