Prepare middle school students to become safe, responsible, and informed digital citizens with this comprehensive Grades 6–8 Digital Citizenship Curriculum Bundle. Designed for a full year of instruction, the bundle includes three grade-specific digital citizenship curricula, each featuring 36 weekly lessons and activities that progressively develop online safety, digital responsibility, media literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and critical thinking.

Included are the Grade 6, Grade 7, and Grade 8 yearlong curricula. Each grade level provides 36 weekly digital citizenship lessons, interactive classroom activities, student worksheets and reflection pages, real-world digital scenarios, discussion prompts, print-and-go resources, and developmentally appropriate technology instruction.

Use this bundle for weekly technology instruction, digital citizenship units, advisory or homeroom, computer science classes, media literacy, SEL integration, counseling, small-group instruction, independent learning, homeschool technology programs, or back-to-school technology expectations. One lesson per week provides a consistent structure for helping students develop responsible online habits and navigate technology confidently in academic, social, and personal settings.

Students develop essential skills in online safety and security, including protecting personal information, password safety, cybersecurity awareness, recognizing scams and online risks, and communicating safely. Digital responsibility lessons address digital etiquette, positive digital footprints, ethical technology use, respectful online interactions, and preventing and responding to cyberbullying. Media and information literacy activities develop skills in evaluating online sources, identifying misinformation, understanding media influence, thinking critically about digital content, and creating content responsibly. Students also strengthen digital collaboration, online communication, social media awareness, healthy technology habits, and problem-solving with digital tools.

The curriculum progresses from Grade 6 through Grade 8, increasing in complexity as students develop more sophisticated digital citizenship skills and prepare for high school, higher education, careers, and responsible participation in digital society.

Ideal for middle school classrooms, technology and computer science courses, media literacy programs, advisory and homeroom, SEL and counseling, homeschool instruction, and digital literacy programs. This comprehensive bundle saves planning time while providing engaging, age-appropriate instruction that helps students become thoughtful, ethical, critical, and confident digital citizens.
