A fun, fact-filled, seven-page German worksheet pack all about the UEFA European Championship (or Euros, for short!), which is of course being held in Germany this year. This worksheet was created especially for the 2024 tournament, full of topical activities that reference this year’s qualifiers.

There’s something for every level in here, from vocabulary word-matching to flag descriptions to short text comprehensions. There’s even a predict-your-own page where the students can write in their expectations for this year’s tournament! Throughout the pages there’s plenty of scope for cross-topic linkups, with lots of reusable vocabulary including colours, countries and sports.

The language level ranges from A1 to A2 on the CEFR scale (ideal for Year 8/9), with plenty of cognates, designed to encourage gist-reading longer texts.
