This colourful and practical GCSE Spanish TORTILLA display is designed to encourage students to develop more sophisticated answers in both GCSE Spanish writing and speaking.

The TORTILLA acronym is an original teaching framework created by the author of this resource and gives students eight key areas to include when developing their Spanish:

T – Time frame
O – Opinion
R – Reason
T – Third person
I – Intensifiers
L – Long phrases
L – Links
A – Advanced structures

Each section includes a selection of useful Spanish phrases with their English translations, giving students accessible examples that they can apply directly to their own speaking and writing.

You can print and display the resource around your classroom as a permanent visual reminder. Both a colour version and a black-and-white version are included, so you can either print the ready-made colour display or print the black-and-white version onto different coloured paper or card.
